The Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College Instructional Complex is a two-story Vocational Instructional Complex. Construction consisted of traditional spread footings and a mixture of CMU and steel-bearing capacities. The facade of the building is primarily stone/brick veneer with a top band of EIFS. The roof is a modified bituminous material, while the HVAC is ran from a Geothermal System with 60 wells. The main attraction of the building is the rotunda-style reclaimed wood grand stairs that serve as a study or lecture area for the students/staff. The building layout is a mixture of classroom and lecture spaces with fully functional labs and prep rooms for Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Nursing Simulation, Observation, Surgery, Ultrasound, and Radiology. The building also has a fully functional kitchen and cafeteria that serves as a gathering place for the entire campus.
