Mullins Elementary School Classroom Addition

The Mullins Addition project is a 13,815 SF single-story 8 classroom addition located at 101 Tiger Way, Pikeville, KY 41501. Construction consisted of concrete footings and stem walls, slab on grade and CMU-bearing walls. The addition has a steel joist roof structure with a combination of metal and EPDM roofing. The interior of the addition consists of 8 classrooms, a set of restrooms, and a mechanical platform. Additionally, the cafeteria was extended, and the existing exterior canopy was converted to an interior corridor. Exterior site improvements included storm piping and paving overlay.
