Laurel County Correctional Center

The Laurel County Correctional Center was designed to expand Laurel County’s facilities for correctional operations. The 103,822 SF facility contains 670 permanent beds and 43 temporary holding beds, which alleviated overcrowding and contributed to a safer environment for inmates and faculty. The facility contains secure spaces for food preparation, administration, inmate cells, laundry, surveillance and inmate intake.
