Kenton County Public Library Renovation & Addition

The Kenton County Public Library project included a 12,500 SF addition and 52,000 SF renovation of the existing building, originally constructed in 1970. New features of the building included nine meeting rooms, three study rooms, two conference rooms, a computer lab, and one oversized meeting area. The children’s department was expanded, and an outdoor study area was added. Renovations included HVAC upgrades throughout, a new roof, as well as a new drive-up window. All construction took place without shutting down the facility, requiring careful planning, scheduling, and coordination.
