Jefferson Elementary School

The construction of Jefferson Elementary School began with a very extensive earthwork package. The facility, which features Geothermal Heating and Cooling, consists of a Geopier Foundation with spread footings, as well as load-bearing masonry and structural steel. The roof of the building includes Thermoplastic Polyolefin and a standing seam system. The structure contains a curtain wall, as well as brick and stone veneer. The building was finished with high-end details such as LVT and wood ceilings. This projects also included a large asphalt package. In addition, the school was constructed to include a 1st floor Preschool wing that serves as a tornado storm shelter capable of withstanding 200MPH winds.
