Franklin County Courthouse Restoration & Judicial Center Addition

The historic Franklin County Judicial Center was originally constructed in 1835. Codell was hired to provide CM/GC services for the Restoration of the Courthouse and Addition to the Judicial Facilities. Codell’s Project Manager and Superintendent provided an in-depth constructability analysis to the Design Team, as Codell was granted access to inspect the existing building. The Restoration of the courthouse featured repair, removal and replacements to the existing building’s structure, stone veneer and stairs. Codell conducted construction in multiple phases, which successfully resulted in the continued functionality of courthouse operations for faculty and the public.
