Estill Springs Elementary School Renovation & Addition

The Estill Springs Elementary School Renovation and Addition project consisted of a 2,150 SF two-classroom addition comprised of footer and stem wall foundation. Construction utilized CMU bearing walls with steel joists/decking roof structure. The roof type was metal panel to match the roofing on the existing building. The exterior facade was made of brick and stone, also to match the existing building. The project also included complete interior door hardware upgrades. Site improvements on the project included a new parent loop with service drives and new parking lots. Additionally, the project included a new outdoor learning space in an amphitheater-style layout, a new playground area, new toilet compartments throughout the school, and new resinous epoxy flooring in the kitchen.
