The Clay County Area Technology Center is a new vocational education building attached to the existing Clay County High School in Manchester, KY. The facility includes 3 shops/bays for Construction, Welding, and Building & Mechanical (BAM) pathways. The ATC also includes a full Health Lab with a simulated Nurses Station and hospital rooms for medical training. The classroom for the Information Technology Program includes overhead conduit for hands-on cable training. Construction consisted of standard foundations and slab with CMU bearing walls, as well as a modified Bituminous Roof System and Geothermal Heat System.
